50th Spine Learning Center

We are proud to announce this week we are reaching an important milestone for our M.O.R.E. Institute and our spine division: on November 21-22, the 50th M.O.R.E. Spine Learning Center on MySpine MC technology will be held in Geneva, Switzerland.

Medacta is recognized in the market for its training and support of surgeons. Our M.O.R.E. (Medacta Orthopaedic Research and Education) Institute provides continuous and effective top-level education worldwide. It was created to provide dedicated support to professionals in the field of research and education, and to improve patient outcomes with the most effective training programs for surgeons, surgeon to surgeon educational opportunities, providing the opportunity to share experience. Moreover, it promotes highly focused regional, national and international courses and symposia on specific orthopaedic and spine surgery topics.

The 50th Spine Learning Center will be an opportunity to discover MySpine MC, our personalized medicine solution for lumbar stabilization procedures based on 3D-printed, patient-matched guides that accurately help position vertebral screws in the midline cortical approach. The faculty will be composed by Dr. med. Dominik Kaiser, Dr. Geert Mahieu, Dr. Nicola Marengo and Dr. Patricia Verstraete, who will tutor and assist the participants during the wet lab following a scientific session. After the learning center, we will hold an education board with reference centers with the aim of discussing the training strategy and continuing to improve our high-level education programs.

Offered as part of the M.O.R.E. Institute, the M.O.R.E. Education Spine Program is a comprehensive offering for surgeons seeking to become proficient in the technique. Learn more about the M.O.R.E. Institute on the dedicated webpage.
